MU ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATORY ISSUES A STATEMENT ABOUT SIGHTING SHABAN MOON 1442 AH

A statement was issued by the university Astronomical Observatory in Hawtat Sudair about the scientific explanation of sighting Shaban crescent 1442 AH. The statement included that based on the scientific calculations made by the Observatory on Saturday 29 Rajab (13th March 2021), the sun will sunset in Mecca at 6:29 pm and the crescent at 6:36 pm.
The Astronomical Observatory, founded in Hawtat Sudair based on MU rector’s decision, aims to serve the local community by promoting the culture astronomy.
