QURAN AND SUNNAH MEMORIZATION AWARD CEREMONY PATRONIZED BY MU RECTOR

A small award ceremony was held amid precautionary measures to award winners of Quraan and Sunnah memorization contest for the academic year 1442 AH. patronized by MU rector, Dr. Khalid al-Muqren, the ceremony was held in the presence of the dean of Student Affairs, vice-rectors and winning students.

The ceremony launched by a recitation of the Holy Quraan, followed by the dean of Student Affairs’ speech, Dr. Khalid al-Ofaisan, who welcomed audience and went on commending the support of the country leaders in various fields.

Through this contest which has been held for tenth time, the deanship of Student Affairs strives to encourage students to memorize Quraan and Sunnah, hoping to have a moderate generation.

Commending the support of MU rector, Dr. al-Muqren for this contest over the past ten years, Dr. al-Ofaisan pointed out that annual prizes are giving out to winners of this contest.

A film was played highlighting the Quraan and Sunna memorization contest and its achievement over the past ten years.

Addressing the audience, MU rector delivered a speech during which he expressed his gratitude to take part in this occasion, emphasizing that the conduct of such contests reflects the care provided by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and His Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Quran and Sunnah.

The rector congratulated winners and commended the role played by all those who were involved in organizing this contest.
