VICE RECTOR HONORS PARTICIPANTS IN A WORKSHOP QUALIFYING CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS TO IMPROVE ITS SERVICES

In line with the support provided by the government to charitable organizations to achieve the comprehensive quality and as part of its role to enhance community partnership with the local community institutions, the Deanship of Community Service and Continuous Education at MU has conducted a program to qualify charitable organizations and institutions – located within the university geographical area- how to establish excellence units that are advocated to improve the quality of administrative and community works.

The 6-month programs comprises several phases which include: direct training, field training, practical workshops and offering consultations.  

The vice-rector, Prof. Musallam al-Dosari, honored the participants in this program who are representatives of charitable institutions.

Dr. Adel al-Turki, supervisor of the program and vice-dean at Community Deanship, pointed out that this program targets charitable organizations and institutions which are located within the university’s geographical area, hoping to include more institutions in the Deanship’s future plan.

Dr. al-Turki added that this program comes at the request of the dean of Community Service Deanship, Dr. Omar al-Sharyofi, and in the presence of the vice-rector, Prof. al-Dosari, who delivered a speech highlighting MU rector’s support to all initiatives that contribute in enhancing community partnership with institutions in the community.

Special thanks were extended by all participants to the university leadership, particularly the Deanship of Community Service for conducting this program.
