GRADUATE DEANSHIP ISSUES A STATISTICAL REPORT ON THE PROGRESS OF ONLINE STUDY AND EXAMINATIONS

The Graduate Deanship issued a statistical report on the progress of online study and tests carried out during the period of study suspension. The report showed the University success in distance learning and its readiness to move from regular to distance learning if necessary. The report has two sections: The first includes statistics on the course of study for graduate programs with focus on the number of content files, discussions, virtual classes, assignments, e-mail, tests, advertisements and types of electronic tools used in teaching. The second section contains statistics on the progress of the final exams of the distance graduate programs. The report included the number of courses in which the tests were conducted, the total number of students who took the tests, the tools used to measure students’ performance during the test period, most notably: Blackboard, Presentation, Assignments, Homework, as well as graduation projects, and oral tests. Dean of Graduate Studies Prof. Abdullah Al-Suweiket praised the University accomplishment of its objectives regarding teaching and examination and the precautionary measures taken under such exceptional circumstances and challenges. He also thanked MU Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Muqrin and Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shayaa, for their continuous follow-up. Furthermore, he praised the efforts of Vice-Dean for Educational Affairs Dr. Bader Al-Sulami, Vice-Dean for Quality and Development, Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al Othman and the departments and units of the deanship as well as all the University academic and administrative leaders.
