  1. The main applicant (Principal Researcher) must complete and pass the online Research Ethics Course from one of the following websites:

    • THE SAUDI NCBE CERTIFICATE SITE

  2. Fill out the required forms and make sure they are signed by the Principal Researcher and the Department Head – and by the academic supervisor if the applicant is an undergraduate or postgraduate student. (Updated and approved forms are attached.)

  3. The applicant must attach the certificate of completion for the ethics course along with supporting documents (such as the informed consent form, research proposal, and questionnaire).

  4. The applicant must attach an updated CV.

  5. If the applicant is an undergraduate or postgraduate student, a letter from the academic supervisor must be attached.

  6. If the research involves minors (under 18 years old), a Minor Assent Form must be used.
