A DELEGATION FROM THE COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND HUMANITIES IN RUMMAH, FEMALES SECTION, PAY A VISIT TO THE DEANSHIP OF QUALITY AND DEVELOPMENT AT KING SAUD UNIVERSITY.

On the basis of the importance of the exchange of experiences with prestigious universities, a delegation from female sections at the Faculty of Science and Humanities in Rumaah paid a visit to the Deanship of Quality and Development at King Saud University on Wednesday 08/02/1435 H. Therefore, the delegation was represented by Ms. Abeer Al-Otaibi, Dean of the College, Ms. Zizi Meshaly, Vice Dean Assistant for Quality and Development Affairs, Ms. Munira Al Tom, Coordinator of Community Service Unit, Ms. Iman Al Fuhaid, Coordinator of Statistics and Information Unit, Ms. Heba Moussa, Coordinator of Quality and Academic Accreditation Unit, Ms. Munira Al Hussan, Coordinator of Training Unit, Siham Abu Thnain, Secretary of the Vice Dean, and Ms. Ebtihal Al Majid. The visit started with a meeting with Dr. Munira Eid Al AbdulAziz, Vice Dean of Quality and Development Deanship at King Saud University, where they discussed the importance of achieving quality and the academic accreditation is a mean to achieve quality and not a goal. After that, the delegation visited the campus of the Faculty of Arts, where it was welcomed by Dr. Iman Abdulqadir, Head of Quality Unit at the college, and Dr. Aljawhara Al Saud, Head of Development Unit at the college. They stressed on the importance of focusing on community service and the application of quality standards in teaching and learning, and discussed the development of study plans and the possibility of use alternative plans for the educational programs, as well as to add university requirements of different programs to support the plans and optimize them to keep up with the labor market. The delegation went on a tour of the college and visited the Writing Club and its modern laboratories, the delegation also visited the College of Business Administration, where it was welcomed by Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Ghzeel Al Otaibi, and a number of faculty members as well as Ms. Mai Al Yahya, Head of Quality Unit at the faculty, who met with the delegation and stressed on the importance of seeking to achieve the internal accreditation, in addition to disseminate the culture of quality among female students, then Ms Al Yahya accompanied the delegation on a tour of the college. At the end of the visit, a meeting was held between Ms. Abeer Al-Otaibi and Dr. Munira Eid -Alabdulaziz regarding the possibility of cooperation between the two universities.
