THE COLLEGE OF SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES HELD A TRAINING COURSE ON Arabic Calligraphy

The Training Unit at the College of Sciences and Humanities in Rumah held a training course on Arabic Calligraphy for the faculty students by Dr. Atif Abdul Bari under the supervision of the College Department of Quality and Development. The aspects of the course consisted of the following: 1- Defining the importance and types of Arabic Calligraphy 2- The emergence of Ruq'ah script and its advantage over other types of Arabic Scripts. 3- Rules of Ruq'ah script. 4- Writing (one period- two periods-three periods- individual letters-figures). 5- Training on writing letters at the initial, middle and final positions of a word. 6- Dividing letters into groups (vertical parts- dish-shaped- crescent- cup-shaped- Letters under the line) 7- Training on writing sentences in Ruq'ah script.
