The Disposal Committee holds its first meeting

The Disposal Committee held its first meeting of the year in the presence of all committee members. During the meeting, they discussed procedures and policies related to document disposal along with the latest achievements of the Documents and Archives Center which includes the preparation of specialized regulation and submitting it to the National Center for Archives and Records for approval. Preparations are also underway to sign the official regulation agreement with the National Center.

The meeting also addressed the visits made by the center to various colleges to help organize and catalog their documents. Several recommendations were made during the session and have been included in the meeting agenda for follow-up and implementation.
