MU SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH MINISTRY OF HUMAN RESOURCES AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT TO EMPOWER WOMEN IN SAUDI MARKET

MU signed an agreement with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to empower women and increase their presence in the Saudi market. 

Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, the vice-rector, represented MU in the signing, while Eng. Majed Al-Dahwi, the deputy minister for Saudization affairs represented the Ministry, which took place in the presence of the deputy minister, Dr. Abdullah Abu Thunaian, and MU rector, Prof. Al-Mizil, and the dean of the Institute of Studies and Consulting Services, Dr. Saad Al-Rushud.

The terms of the agreement included the Parallel Training Program which is an initiative affiliated with the transformation programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to support career empowerment for women as well as job-seekers.

The program, which will continue until the end of 2025, aims to employ and train over 100.000 citizens who have bachelor's degrees or higher.
