The Curricula and Study Plans Committee discusses Academic Program Development in its 20th Session

Prof. Mohammed Al-Aboudi, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, chaired the 20th session of the Permanent Committee for Curricula and Study Plans. The members discussed several topics related to the update of academic plans and the development of academic programs in line with quality requirements and accreditation standards.

The committee reviewed the coding mechanism for updated and newly introduced programs and courses, and issued the appropriate recommendation to help standardize procedures and strengthen program identity. It also discussed a proposal to revise the study plan for one of the undergraduate programs at the College of Dentistry and recommended the necessary steps to complete its approval process.

During the meeting, the Vice-Rector emphasized the importance of maintaining work based on a scientific methodology that ensures the quality of academic outcomes. He also stressed the need to complete the development procedures in accordance with approved processes, in line with the university's vision for academic excellence and advancement in educational standards.
