MU Vice-Rector for Development and Investment concludes the "Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 2030 Applications Expert" Program

Under the patronage of the Vice-Rector for Development and Investment, Prof. Musallam Al-Dossari, the specialized development program “Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 2030 Applications Expert” was successfully concluded.

The five-day program brought together experts from various government, private, and development sectors. It covered key topics such as sustainability, the concepts of development and sustainable development, the SDGs and their importance, Saudi Arabia’s achievements in this field, and how to align the SDGs with Saudi Vision 2030. Participants also explored sustainability reporting and impact measurement.

A number of prominent specialists contributed to the program, representing the Shura Council, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, Royal Commissions and Development Authorities, King Saud University, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Imam Mohammad ibn Saud Islamic University, and other academic and developmental institutions.

Prof. Al-Dossari emphasized that this program is a strategic initiative designed to train experts in applying the SDGs, as part of the university’s broader plan to activate the role of SEVAL Saudi Center.
