Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, vice-rector and director of Social Responsibility Observatory (SRO) has attended the celebration of the international day of persons with disabilities, held by the Department of Special Education and patronized by ‘SRO’.
The event was also attended by Dr. Saleh Al-Rabia, director of education and dean of College of Education, Dr. Abdelrahman Al-Sabt along with a number of faculty and parents of students with disabilities.
Prof. Al-Dosari delivered a speech extending appreciations to the organizing committee for the efforts being exerted to hold this event. He also stressed that persons with disabilities are at the center of the university concern both academically and service-wise.
On the contribution of the university to the community, Prof. Al-Dosari emphasized that the availability of the university services to persons with disabilities in particular, and the community at large. ‘ there is an unfailing commitment on the part of the university to establish a special center for person with disabilities after the document being approved by the university board’, added Prof. Al-Dosari.
