MU RECTOR PARTICIPATES IN 8TH WORKSHOP OF SAUDI UNIVERSITIES’ RECTORS

Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren participated in the 8th workshop Saudi Universities’ Rectors held on Tuesday Juma’ad Al-Akhir, 1438 with the theme “Towards achieving Saudi vision 2030: Efficiency, sustainability and responsibility at higher education”.  The workshop, organized by Academic Leadership Center attached to Ministry of Education, will last for two days and cover a range of topics such as concept of efficiency and sustainability and their relationship with responsibility, the role academic leaders at universities in achieving efficiency, sustainability and innovation.  The workshop hosted a number of experts such Dr. Nam Suh, president of KAIST and Dr. Jeffry Polar, director of leadership and development program at Florida Atlantic University, USA.  The selection of these topic for the workshop was based on the Kingdom Vision 2030 which aims to enforce efficiency, more productivity and sustainability. The sessions of the workshop will include all successful experiences and practices for universities.
