MU HONORS SOLDIERS’ CHILDREN WITH SCHOLARSHIP

Majmaah University represented by Deanship of Community Service held a ceremony to honor the children of soldiers in the southern border at the main campus in the presence of Majmaah Gov. Prince Abdelrahman bin Abdullah bin Faisal and patronage of Mu Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren. 

The ceremony began a beautiful recitation of Koran followed by a speech for Dr. Omar Al-Sharyofi Dean of Community Service, who talked about the initiatives and services offered by the Deanship to serve the community. Dr. Al-Sharyofi stated that this event aims to honor children of soldiers in southern border.  One of the soldiers’ children delivered a poem followed by a documentary film that highlights the sacrifice made by soldiers in southern border to safeguard the country. The ceremony was concluded with a speech for Dr. Al-Mugren MU Rector, followed by awarding the children with memorial shields.
