Majmaah University won a golden medal with distinction in the 9th International Invention Fair in the Middle East held in Kuwait from January 16-19, 2017, which has qualified it to International Exhibition of Geneva. The University participated in the fair with an invention that measures cholesterol concentration through a one-drop of blood using a Nano-technology biosensor. The University has also won the first place in GCC Patent Office. Awards were given by Sheikh Salman Al-Subah, Minister of Information.
