In response to the directives of MU Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren and under the follow-up of Vice-Rector Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih and Director Education Department Dr. Saleh Al-Rabiah, The College of Computer Science and Information has participates in the worldwide campaign of hour of code at schools in Majmaah.
The activity aims to teach layman the essentials of computer and programming all around the world. It also tends to target 100 million students all over the world. Several training courses on programming were given to students at various schools using games such as Mine craft is designed to entertain and educate students of early ages about programming. Certificates of appreciation and prizes were presented to students by Hour of Code Co. for their participation in this activity.
