THE UNIVERSITY CELEBRATES THE WORLD ARABIC LANGUAGE DAY

A number of activities were held by the Arabic Language Department on the occasion of celebrating the world Arabic language day. The celebration took place on 18th December under the auspice of Dean, Dr. Abdelrahman Al-Sabit and vice-deans and head of departments. 

The celebration was launched by a beautiful recitation of the Holy Qura’an for Mr. Mohammed Al-Mutairi followed by a speech for the Dean on the importance of Arabic being the language of of the Holy Qur’an. The Arabic Department at College of Education in Majmaah (girl section) has also organized a seminar titled “ Promoting Arabic Language” attended by several faculty members. Similarly, the College of Education in Zulfi celebrated the event by organizing seminars, workshops and several other activities.  Thanks and appreciations were extended to organizers of this celebration, on top of them is the head of Arabic department, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shehri.
