LAUNCH OF RESEARCH UNITS BY MU RECTOR

MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren launched research units of colleges in a ceremony held at the honorary hall with the presence of vice-rectors and deans. 

Dr. Thamer Al-Harbi, Dean of Scientific Research, commenced the ceremony with a presentation that defined the research units in colleges, their goals and contributions and the future prospects in research field. Dr. Al-Mugren delivered a speech on this occasion in which he appreciated this achievement and encouraged all colleges to play their role in research field, particularly faculty members whose role is not confined to teaching, but includes researching and serving the community.  Research units are primarily concerned with enhancing the quality of research on regular basis. It is also in charge of reviewing all the researches submitted by faculty members, proposing the annual research plan and required budget as well as holding activities related to research field.
