MU RECTOR TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONFERENCE OF SOCIAL NETWORKS CONTROLS IN ISLAM

MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren will participate in the conference organized by Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Award for Prophetic Sunnah and Contemporary Islamic Studies with the participation of the Islamic University of Madinah.  The Conference titled ‘Social Networks Controls in Islam’ is patronized by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. Participants in the Conference include a number of scholars, intellectuals and professionals in electronic media from 24 countries who presented 245 researches.

On the importance of the conference, Dr. Al-Mugren valued the idea of addressing such an indispensable issue which becomes an integral part of  human being daily life. Social networks become the main source for seeking information and news of the world. They are also used as a mean of communication for  individuals and societies who are, to a large extent, are influenced by such networks. Added Dr. Al-Mugren.

Dr. Al-Mugren said this conference will save time and efforts as it will include all the latest scientific research and future prospects with regard social networks. It is also a good chance to exchange experience with others in issues such as the role of social networks in promoting Islam and the negative aspects of social networks.
