THE UNIVERSITY GAVE AWAY RENTED BUILDINGS AND SHIFTS TO NEW ONES

An impressive accomplishment achieved by MU with regard to cutting spending was the shift to new buildings and give away a number of rented buildings. This achievement is one step towards the fulfillment of the university strategic plan which goes in line with the kingdom’s vision 2030.

By 1437, around 13 rented buildings for college of science and humanities in Ghat and Hawtat Sudair as well as accommodations at Majmaah and Zulfi with a total of 3.228.384 SR are no longer used.  

The Vice-Rector, Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari stated the tendency of the university to give away five rented buildings with a total of 1.468.300 SR for colleges of science and humanities in Remah and medical services in Majmaah by 1438.  The total amount saved by MU up to 1438 is 4.696.684 SR, and more than 60% of the rented buildings were given away, added Dr. Al-Dosari.
