BREAST CANCER AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

A campaign was  set up by the Public Relations and Media Dep. in cooperation with Zahra Association for breast cancer awareness. The campaign which lasted for 3 days was organized with the participation of many colleges and deanships including College of Medicine, College of Applied Medical Sciences, College of Education, College of Computer Science and Information and Deanship of Community Services.

There were serval booths containing booklets and brochures that highlight paramount issues related to the causes  and precautions against the disease. Messages of SMS were also sent to patients about the disease along with food that helps minimizing the risk of infection. Moreover, the campaign also had some educational lectures which provided a detailed illumination about the importance of finding out early about the disease, types of disease, how it was discovered etc.
