THE UNIVERSITY PRESENTS ITS EXPERIENCE IN STRATEGIC PLANNING AT THE MEETING OF ARAB ORGANIZATION FOR ADMINISTRATIVE DEVELOPMENT

 

 

 
 

In respond to an invitation from the League of Arab States represented by the Arab Organization for Administrative Development, Majmaah University presented its experience in strategic planning at the meeting of (strategic planning in light of telecommunications and information technology revolution), held in Tangier in Morocco recently. The university was presented by His Excellency the Vice Rector Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Shaya and Dean of Scientific Research and Supervisor of Public Department of Planning and Administrative Development, Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser Sweyd who presented the experience of the university in a scientific paper in which he explained the methodology, stages and final outcomes. He also showed the role of information to the plan and the importance of the communications and information technology revolution in building and following-up plans at all levels. At the end of the show, the team responded to inquiries by the participants. It is worth mentioning that the University has a pioneering experience in the field of strategic planning as it built its strategic plan which was based on scientific basis and which was also one of the priorities of the University in order to achieve its requirements and the aspirations of its leaders. There is a top team for strategic planning at the university with internal partnership represented in the Arab Organization for Development and Training and external partnership represented in the Texas Federation of International Education. On of the outcomes of this team is the completion of the university strategic plan which receives a lot of admiration from specialists in the field of strategic planning.
