On the occasion of the 82nd anniversary of the Kingdom, We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to the wise leadership of this country who adopted Islam as a constitution and a frame of reference for all acts of life, sincerity as an indispensable approach and piety in dealing for the process of development and modernization to proceed since the era of King Abdulaziz Bin Abdelrahman Al-Saud- God bless him-. On this day, we recall his biography from which we could gain lessons. King Abdulaziz established this country 82 years ago which is succeeded by the current flourishing era of the Custodian of the Tow Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz where huge projects and development are implemented including the great concern and support to universities and students. Higher Education nowadays witnesses a dramatic development in which King Abdullah is paying an unprecedented attention to education in general and higher education in particular. Thus, we obviously witnessed the increasing number of opening new universities in various regions of the Kingdom in which the number of universities has reached 30 private and government universities in addition to developing the current universities and providing them with necessary needs including manpower as well as technical and educational support. Moreover, there was also an expansion in the Custodian of the Tow Holy Mosques scholarships program which is regarded as one of the largest governmental program for scholarship in the world will assist students to contributing in the development of the country. This program is expected to have better outcomes in the near future when overseas students are back to the country at the time when the whole infrastructure of universities is completed, as a result, an ideal educational environment is established where national cadres are integrated with modern edifices. These tangible efforts are clearly manifested in Majmaah University through the facilities provided to the university in order to play its role efficiently. Over the last three years, the University has achieved a great success that deserve pride among which the completion of the entire infrastructure including the establishment of departments and deanships as well as renovating colleges’ buildings, developing their curriculums and providing them with all their educational needs. More achievements were made including the completion of the finance and administration system, admission and registration program, launching medical college, Dentistry College, college of science and humanities in Rumah, establishing Prince Salman Institute for Studies and Consulting Services, applying Istiqtab Program which is regarded as one of the best programs at the University. The University has also organized training courses for its staff to develop their abilities in a partnership with most renowned universities and institutes. The University also signed a number of cooperative treaties with a number of local and international universities. The University is counting on qualified cadres who are able to contribute in the development of current colleges, establishing new ones and coming up with new scientific majors which will associate the outcomes of education and labor market. The whole educational formula works according to strategic plans which were prepared by a number of experts in the realm of higher education management and administrative management with a consistent support from His Highness Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammad Al-Angari and His Deputy Prof. Ahmed Bin Mohammad Al-Saif. Consequently, Majmaah University is able to achieve the best quality of academic performance and will be the future university for all youths.
