THE UNIVERSITY OBTAINS ACADEMIC ACCREDITATION FROM (‪AHPGS‬)‬‬‬

 In a new achievement added to the series of accomplishments by Majmaah University in several administrative and academic fields, the College of Applied Medical Science has obtained the desired academic accreditation from the German accrediting agency AHPGS for some of its educational programs i.e. nursing, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and laboratories. The accreditation has been achieved following a visit by the agency representatives, where examination of the programs’ files required for accreditation took place. In addition to the fil’s' scrutiny, there were several interviews with the College officials, the faculty members, and the students. Some of the positive aspects pointed out by Dr. Richard – Head of the Agency’s visiting delegation- were the level of quality achieved by the University in such a short period and the accomplishment of the required criteria needed for accreditation. AHPGS is an independent German accrediting agency for health and social science programs. It is one of the most active accrediting agencies throughout the European Union, applying international standards in its accreditation, with over 1000 of accredited programs in several countries like Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Austria, Lithuania, Holland and Romania.
