FOLLOWING THE RECTOR'S DIRECTIVES: THE UNIVERSITY WILL COMPLETE THE PROCEDURES OF ADMISSION FOR STUDENTS WITH 40% HIGHER THAN LAST YEAR

In respond to the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz regarding the admission of high school graduates as well as providing seats for all students interested in pursuing their higher education in all available disciplines which was also emphasized by the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al-Angari and his Vice President Prof. Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al-Saif, the Admission and Registration Deanship at the university ended the procedures of admission for all applicants to the University for the academic year 1433 - 1434 H in which the Deanship, upon the guidance and direct follow-up of the Rector Dr. Khalid Bin Sa'ad Al-Mogren, admitted all students who applied to the University through the e-portal. More than 5802 students (male and female) got their admission for the next academic year in thirteen colleges and more than seventy majors which is 40% higher than last year. Mentioned the Deputy Dean of Admissions and Registration at the university, Mr. Saud Bin Abdulmohsen Al-Moqhem who confirmed that the admission procedures were smooth and students were placed in colleges and departments according to the availability of each major and based on the compound percentages for scientific majors and equivalent percentage for non-scientific majors. 78% of the applicants’ first interest (either male or female students) was fulfilled. Mr. Al-Moqhem complemented the workflow and the effort made by the staff in the Deanship at all phases of admission. He also added that the number of applicants was enormous which shows the good reputation gained by the university over the past years due to the Almighty God, then the efforts made by the Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad al-Mogren who followed up the admissions process at all phases and issued a lot of directives that have contributed to the success of the admission process though the applications exceeded the numbers prescribed for admission to this year in which the number of seats for this academic year was doubled in comparison with last year.
