DEANSHIP OF COMMUNITY SERVICES AND CONTINUING EDUCATION CONDUCTS A TRAINING PROGRAM FOR THE INMATES OF MAJMAAH PROVINCE

 

Based on the role of the university in serving the community and making cooperation with government sectors, the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education conducted a training course on (dealing with stress) for the inmates of Majma'ah Prison.

The course was opened by His Excellency the Vice Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education Deanship and Dr. Abdullah bin Hamad Aalghemazy, and Director of Majmaah Prison, lieutenant, Mohammed Al-Muhrej and with the presence of a number of leaders of the prison. The course was presented by Mr. Abdullah Al-Zahrani (university lecturer and psychologist )Dr.Aalghemazi noted that this session will continue for two days, (3) hours per day and it aims to help inmates dealing with stress in prison and after their departure from it.

Dr. Aalghemazi extended his thanks to His Highness for his continuous support for the activities and programs of the Deanship. His Excellency, Lieutenant Al-Muhrej also expressed his happiness for the cooperation provided by the university with all sectors of government, especially with Majmaah Prison.He also thanked the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education for its excellent initiatives in serving the community and wished that this course will be a beginning for a constant collaboration between the university and the prison.
