HIS EXCELLENCY THE VICE RECTOR MADE A TOUR OF INSPECTION TO THE COMMITTEES OF INTERVIEWS FOR NEWS STUDENTS

In the context of the ongoing follow-ups of Colleges and Deanships of university Rectorship, His Excellency the Vice Rector Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdul Rahman Al-Hugail made a tour of inspection on the morning of Sunday, 11.8.1433 H to the colleges of Medicine and Applied Medical Sciences in Majma'ah where he inspected the functioning of the committees of interviews for applicants to medical colleges for the academic year 1433/1434 H. This year is regarded as the second in applying the mechanism of admitting students via interviews for the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences and the third year of the faculties of Medicine and Dentistry. His Excellency was received by Dr. Ali Bin Nasser Al-Jarallah, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences and Dr. Mohammed bin Othman Al-Rukban, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. His Excellency was briefed with the criteria of admitting new students in those colleges and the number of students applying for interviews. He also stressed on ensuring the selection of outstanding students in health colleges. Moreover, He recommended officials of the Committees to redouble their efforts in order to achieve the aspirations of the university through the admission of students and rehabilitating them with the latest teaching methods and modern techniques and to prepare students to compete in the market. Finally, he presented his thanks and appreciation to the various working committees of health colleges and respected Deans for their endeavor to make effort in succeeding the work of those committees.
