TRAINING SESSION ON TEACHING METHODS

As part of their social responsibility, and in partnership with Hotat Sudair Education Center, the College of Science and Humanities’ administration in Hotat Sudair held on Wednesday, 6 Safar,1437 AH. a training session titled " Methods of Teaching English Vocabulary ", targeting the English language teachers in Hotat Sudair. The session was presented by Dr. Al-Gilani Al-Fakki, who gave an introduction about English language vocabulary, their definition as a language system, their different types (e.g. academic, idioms, neutral, etc.), the teaching methods, and the types of vocabulary tests and how to do them. It is worth mentioning that the session was attended by a number of English teachers from both high and elementary schools in Hotat Sudair; in addition to the Head of Training Unit in Hotat Sudair Education Center and Head of the Community Service Unit in the college, Mr. Hussein Batayneh. At the end of the session, Dr. Al-Fakki answered the audience’s questions and discussed them together.
