The University Public Relations and Media Department held a ceremony to celebrate the second anniversary of issuance of the Royal Decree for the appointment of Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqren as a Rector for Majmaah University on the excellent rank, the beginning of establishing the university and the start of the first steps to construction at the “Hospitality Hall” of the Rector Office.
The celebration started in the presence of the university Vice Rectors, Deans of colleges and supporting deanships. The start was a welcoming speech on behalf of Public Relations and University Media Department read by Mr. Mohammed Al Eid. He welcomed H.E. the Rector and the presence. Mr. Al Eid clarified that this occasion comes after two years of establishing the university and as a reminder including successes and achievements and what has been overcome of the beginning difficulties and establishment obstacles as a result of the strong will, eye catching determination and exciting admiration, led by the Rector. He also referred to that this event was shortened at the direction of the Rector.
Then came the university Rector Speech, he thanked all attendees for their presence and interaction with all the University occasions. He pointed out that the University noted achievements, completion of the administrative & academic system in colleges comes first by God will, then by the potentials provided by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and by the efforts of all employees of the university who were able to work as a harmonious group seeking one goal which is serving this nation through this university and exert every possible efforts in order to improve it to achieve its set goals. He then provided some guidelines that determine the course of action to maintain the gains and successes and continue achievements through activation of the ideas, plans, and proposals and turn them into reality. This can be done by doubling the efforts, developing the working mechanism and maintain the values of the university in charity to others, transparency, clarity and sincerity in work and development of capacities and the spirit of love and tolerance. He also asked them to evaluate the work of all other university units achievements during the past two years.
After that, the university vice rectors and some of the colleges’ deans gave speeches where they praised the position that the university reached to among the academic parties, ministries and various government agencies and for the university services provided to all society segments and for male and female students such as possibilities and equipment. which were subject of their appreciation.
