A DELEGATION OF CRANFIELD UNIVERSITY VISITS MU

MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren welcomed a delegation of Cranfield University headed by Professor Phil Hart, Director of Energy and Power for Water, Energy and Environment Research and accompanied by Samina Masood, International Development Manager.
The visit came at the invitation of MU Rector to discuss the means of academic cooperation between the two universities.
Dr. Al-Mugren welcomed Prof. Hart and briefed him about the major achievements of the university in various fields. The Dean of College of Engineering, Dr. Abdullah Al-Abdelkareem invited Prof. Hart to tour the labs and facilities of the college.
Several topics were discussed including the establishment of MA program in renewable energy between the two universities, the establishment of a research center for renewable electrical energy and utilize the long-standing experience of Cranfield University in this field by contributing in supporting the sectors specialized in generating renewable energy.
At the end of the visit, the delegation extended their thanks to MU Rector for the wonderful hospitality and stressed the necessity of communication to work on the agreements that will serve both universities.
