A WORKSHOP ON “INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND HOW TO PROTECT IT” CONDUCTED BY VICE-RECTOR’S OFFICE FOR GRADUATE STUDIES AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

The Vice-Rector Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research conducted a workshop for faculty members and students at the College Complex in Zulfi entitled “ Effective Ways to protect your Intellectual Property”.
The workshop – presented by Dr. Saeed Banawas, Head of Student Innovation Center, - focused on introducing the following aspects : introduction of the intellectual property concept, significance of intellectual property, types intellectual property, intellectual property bodies, the relationship between intellectual property and scientific research and samples of intellectual property.
Dr. Banawas extended his thanks to the attendees and answered all their questions.
Prof. Mohammed Al-Shaya’a, Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, stressed the vital role played by the Student Innovation Center reaffirming that outstanding innovators and inventors, who seek to file their patents, will receive a substantial attention and support.
