DATA CENTER RELOCATION TEAM AWARDED BY MU RECTOR

MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren welcomed his office the data center relocation team which has managed to migrate the data center successfully to the new building at the main campus.
Through concerted efforts and dedication exerted by several departments under the supervision of the Dean of IT, a professional team from the Vice-Dean’s Office of Information Technology carried out the migration according to a plan set by the Vice-Dean’s Office of IT.
At the early stage of migration process, the networking devices was relocated followed by servers, central storage units, data base, backup systems and emergency power.
MU Rector, Dr. Al-Mugren awarded the team in recognition of their unfailing commitment and efforts around the clock to make the data center relocation plan successful. The Rector has also extended his thanks to the Dean Dr. Mohammed Al-Wanien and Vice-Dean Dr. Ibrahim Al-Zamel, who also commended the support of the Rector and Vice-Rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, in paving the way for the migration process to take place.
