MU PARTICIPATES IN ENERGY EFFICIENCY WORKSHOP

MU has participated in the workshop organized by the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center and attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al-Saud, Minister of Energy. PR’s staff Mr. Thamer Al-Thumairi, and Eng. Mousa Al-Mutairi from the Department of Operation and Maintenance.
The workshop focused on highlighting the best practices of optimizing the electricity consumption at public facilities and buildings as well as getting the awareness message across to public staff.
The mechanism of providing the Center with electricity consumption quantity for every government sector and the best practices of maintenance for appliances with high-electricity consumption were addressed in the workshop .
An awareness raising session was presented specialists highlighting the important role that could be played by PR in every sector and the necessity of coordinating with the Center to run awareness raising programs about the rationalization of electricity consumption at workplace.
