VICE-RECTOR VISITS DEANSHIP OF LIBRARY AFFAIRS

Prof. Mohammed Al-Shayae, Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, paid an inspection visit to the Deanship of Library Affairs where he was welcomed by the Dean, Dr. Sa’ad Al-Feleih and all staff. The aim of the visit is to inspect the progress of work including the annual reports of the major activities and achievement as well as the future plans of the Deanship.
Dr. Al-Feleih, the Dean, reviewed the action plan of the Deanship and all achievements such as creating knowledge base library and signing deals with various publishers (e.g. total number of references exceeded 3 millions).
The Deanship has also supplied the main library as well as the colleges’ libraries with the required services to operate efficiently.
Prof. Al-Shaye expressed his gratitude with the exceptional efforts exerted by the Deanship to serve the faculty staff and students.
A field visit was paid by Prof. Al-Shaye to the library to see some of the new books and to talk to the librarians as well as some of the library visitors.
