His Excellency the Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren launched the website of contracting links. The website is the first of its kind in which provides unique features that could serve the government sector and private. The most prominent features of the website is as follow:
Number of visits: this is used to make the number of visitors limited and can only be specified by the link-owner. This feature is used in forms such as surveys or research in which researcher could specify the number of participants in a particular form. Date of end: this is used to make a link inaccessible after the deadline. This feature is used for official job posts by the government.
Guiding text: in this service, a message could be put for the user before being directed to the intended link. For example: directing students to the link of English learning via posting a message that explains the purpose of the website before accessing it.
Dr. Omar Al-Muteihi, Dean of IT noted that the website is one of the services provided by the software unit in the Deanship of IT to the government and private sector and it will be further developed in the future.
