Chairman’s message

Academic advising is regarded as a science of educational and psychological nature; it is a service designed to provide assistance to students, individually or collectively, to eradicate their academic problems and help them adapt to the university life under the umbrella of a friendly relationship between teachers and students  The guidance process aims at instructing students effectively in order to enable them acquire the appropriate skills which will help them Recent studies suggest that a teacher is not required to be specialized in academic advising to play this vital role because he is the most efficient person to perform this task due to his peculiar knowledge of his students’ levels and problems through lectures. Thus, what we do in the academic counseling committee keeps up to date with the latest recommendations in this field through documenting and archiving forms to ensure a smooth and continuous relationship between the advisers and their students. We have been playing a vital role, thanks to Allah, in promoting students’ positive behaviors and improving their academic level in addition to reducing their negative         plan their future in accordance with their ability and choice.
