Message from the Director
I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the Archives & Records Center at Majmaah University. This center acts as the university's living memory and seeks to preserve and document the university's history and achievements by collecting, organizing and preserving various types of documents and archives for nearly two decades.
Archives & Records reflects the progress of institutions and their achievements and a mirror that reflects their development and progress, and a valuable source of information and knowledge and contribute to building new knowledge and developing scientific research.
The Archives & Records Center aims to preserve documents and protect them from loss and damage and ensure their survival for future generations, organize and classify documents according to the standards, regulations and systems issued by the National Center for Archives & Records. This facilitate access to them and document the history of the university and its various activities and provide a clear picture of its journey.
We call on all university members to cooperate and be keen to preserve the university's archives and record and to be part of this national project.

What We Offer?
Following the Royal Decree No. (M/54) dated 23 Shawwal 1409 AH, MU established the Archives and Records Center to carry out its role according to the competencies specified by the university’s organizational structure, through specialized committees such as the Permanent Committee for Archives and Records and the subcommittees such as the Archives and Records Preparation Committee and the Documents Destruction Committee. To achieve the regulatory requirements and the university’s, MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqrin, approved the establishment of the Archives and Records Center to organize and preserve all archives to maintain safety and confidentiality of the information.
