Academic Advising Forum

Under the patronage of MU Rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mizil, and the follow-up of the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Nasser Al-Othman, the Deanship of Admission and Registration organized an important event titled: The Academic Advising Forum. Academic advising is a vital task undertaken by faculty members to support students in achieving academic success. It involves guiding students through university regulations and academic systems, helping them choose majors that suit their interests and apptitude, and assisting them in overcoming challenges—whether academic or social—that may impact their performance. Through this forum, the Deanship of Admission and Registration aims to provide tailored academic advising services that meet students' needs, support their academic journey, and help them develop essential skills to achieve their educational goals. The forum also focuses on enhancing these services in line with global best practices in academic advising across higher education institutions.
