Thirteenth Article: General Rules

1. The University Council has the right to interpret this set of regulations

2. The higher supervisory committee of research chairs develops the executive rules for these regulations in a manner that do not conflict with the articles

3. Everything will be subject to the systems, regulations and resolutions in effect in the university in the event nothing mentioned about it in this set of regulations.

Tenth Article: Disbursement Aspects of the Chair Budget

The disbursement aspects of the chair budget include the following:

1. Researches and studies that are under the research chair program

2. Equipments, tools and requirements

3. Administrative operational expenses

4. Conferences, lectures and workshops

5. Salaries, allowances, rewards and attraction and distinction incentives

6. Publication, printing and media expenses, and the expenses of registering patents

Eighth Article: The Budget of Research Chairs Program

There are financial and administrative independence for research chairs program and financial disclosure in accordance with the regulations. Also, the research chair program has a yearly budget includes sources, expenses in accordance with the restrictions. A bank account will be created for the chairs program in one of the primary banks. In this account, all the funds of the chairs will be deposited and the university Rector has the disbursement powers.

Seventh Article: Research Chairs Finance Sources

The followings are some of the finance sources

1. What is allocated for research chairs out of the university budget

2. What is allocated for research chairs from the university endowments

3. The allotted support from the higher education budget for research chairs programs

4. Donations, bequests and endowments from individuals, government bodies and private sector

5. Self-financing from the chairs activities  

Sixth Article: The Administrative and Technical Organization of the Research Chair

The research chair is composed of an administration committee for the chair affairs headed by the supervisor of the chair, the chair professor as a member and a number of members who have interests in the field of the research chair

The Supervisor of the Research Chair

The supervisor of the research chair will be assigned by the scientific research chairs committee, and there will be direct connection for one year renewable throughout his/her supervision over the chair

Fifth Article: Committee of Scientific Research Chairs

 This committee is considered the supervising body over the administrative, financial and scientific aspects of all the research chairs. It is also committed to following the achievement of goals and message of the chairs.

Second Article: Objectives of the Research Chair

The scientific research chairs aim to achieve the following goals:

1. Providing the appropriate environment for research and development in all various fields of science and knowledge

2. Attracting excellent researchers and scientists around the world in order to benefit from their experience of supporting the programs and scientific research outputs

3. Providing alternatives and financial sources for supporting the scientific research programs
