Tasks of the Unit
1. To collect the statistical information and data about the various activities of the vice-rectorate.2. To review and categorize the information and statistics once they are received and set rules for saving and retrieving them.3. To conduct analytical statistical studies and consultations to meet the requirement of supporting the decision.4. To publish the annual statistical books about the vice-rectorate.5. To issue the manuals, books and booklets that highlights the vice-rectorate achievement.6.
Strategic Objectives of the Unit
- To specify the required information and its sources as well as collecting, analyzing, categorizing and developing the required data for the vice-rectorate.- To accelerate the process of information and data collection to issue reports and statistics.- To document and save the information and follow-up if they are modified for easy retrieval.- To provide the respected department with the required statistical information and data about the vice-rectorate and its activities.- To publish the statistical indicators and analysis about the vice-rectorate- To promote the statistical awareness in
General Objective
To establish a database that includes all the activities and achievements of the vice-rectorate and t be updated on regular basis to meet the requirements of the administration of the university.

The Statistics and Reports Unit is organizationally, administratively and financially linked to the deputyship of graduate studies and scientific research.
Challenges and Solutions
Challenges and Solutions can be classified into two types:

- I: Internal Challenges which are challenges issued by the Rectorship and which affect the execution of its functions and responsibilities.
- II: External Challenges namely those challenges resulting from the nature of the Rectorship's work and the issues and topics covered. The most important internal and external challenges faced by the Rectorship is stated below with the proposed solutionsto overcome them.
