The Scholarship and Training Department plays a vital role in supporting the University’s academic and research mission. It oversees scholarship and training programs for employees in accordance with approved policies and regulations, helping to develop talent and enhance academic and professional qualifications.

1. Scholarship Application Services
We receive and process internal and external scholarship applications, review submissions, and ensure all regulatory requirements are completed, including:
- Opening a scholarship file
- Issuing financial guarantees
- Processing new scholarship requests
2. Ongoing Support
We closely follow up on all scholarship-related matters, including:
- Scholarship extension requests
- Scholarship upgrade requests
- Change of university
- Change of major
- Change of country
- Scientific visit requests
- Requests to study additional academic courses
- Study deferral requests
- Scholarship termination (upon degree completion or otherwise, in accordance with regulations)
- Online course study requests
3. Academic Progress Monitoring
We review periodic academic reports and take necessary action when required to ensure steady progress.
4. Coordination with Academic Advisors
We work closely with academic advisors in each department to monitor and support scholarship candidates.
5. Digital Communication and Support
We activate modern communication channels between the University and scholarship candidates to simplify procedures and strengthen institutional connection.
6. Tracking Academic and Research Achievements
We document and follow up on scholars’ academic and research accomplishments, including publications, conference participation, and patents.
7. Workshops
We organize workshops and seminars for employees planning to pursue scholarships.
8. Awareness Programs and Regulations
We provide orientation sessions outlining scholarship policies and procedures for both current and prospective scholars.
9. Support under-achieving candidates
We follow up on cases of academic difficulty in accordance with regulations and offer solutions to help scholars successfully complete their graduate programs.
