The world celebrates International Arabic Language Day every year on 18 December, honoring the beauty of the Arabic language, its historic role in connecting civilizations, and its cultural significance as one of the most widely spoken and used languages worldwide.
In celebration of this day, the Social Responsibility Observatory, represented by the Community Service Department and in collaboration with the Arabic Language Department at the College of Education, organized a community program titled: “The Arabic Language in the Era of Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence”. The program was presented by Dr Sarah Abdullah Al-Subaih, Associate Professor of Grammar and Morphology.
The program addressed several key topics, including the status of the Arabic language and its religious and civilizational dimensions, the current challenges facing Arabic in contemporary times, and the use of artificial intelligence in supporting and developing the Arabic language, as well as its future prospects.
This initiative is part of the Social Responsibility Observatory’s programs to raise awareness and promote community education.
