The Special Needs Services Center at the Social Responsibility Observatory, in collaboration with the University Health Care Facilities, launched a Comprehensive Medical Screening Initiative for Persons with Disabilities in celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, observed on 3 December 2025.
The three days initiatives targeted students with disabilities in schools across the governorate. Participants received comprehensive medical examinations, including assessments of general health status, early detection of health conditions, as well as tailored medical guidance and recommendations based on individual needs.
The initiative aims to support the health of persons with disabilities, enhance their quality of life, and raise health awareness among them and their families. It also contributes to creating a supportive educational and healthcare environment, reflecting the University’s commitment to its community and humanitarian role.
This initiative is part of the Social Responsibility Observatory’s programs focused on empowering persons with disabilities and strengthening partnerships with health institutions, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and Saudi Vision 2030.
