The CIFAL Saudi Arabia launches the Second Edition of the ‘Development Studies Preparation’ Program in Partnership with the Institute of Public Administration

CIFAL Saudi Arabia, in partnership with the Institute of Public Administration, has launched the second edition of the developmental program “Development Studies Preparation”, designed for professionals working in government institutions. The program aims to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to efficiently and effectively prepare development studies.

The program reflects CIFAL Saudi Arabia’s vision of supporting administrative and developmental advancement, strengthening partnerships with leading national institutions, and enhancing the capacity of government human capital to actively contribute to achieving Saudi Vision 2030. Participants gain the knowledge necessary to prepare studies that identify developmental needs and build scientific models to support informed decision-making.

The program focuses on five main areas:

1. Introduction to the concept of development studies.

2. Identifying the needs of community components: concepts and mechanisms.

3. Developmental data: sources and collection methodology.

4. Mechanisms for preparing a plan to determine developmental needs.

5. Practical applications for building development study models.

The program targets employees in government entities involved in planning and development, aiming to enhance their ability to conduct studies using scientific methodologies that support high-quality planning and the achievement of national development goals.
