Internal Audit Department Conducts a Workshop

Under the supervision of Majmaah University Vice-rector Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari, the Internal Audit Department has organized a workshop entitled (Significance of Internal Audit). Director of the Internal Audit Department Mr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Thumairi thanked the University vice-rector for attending the workshop and Dr. Muhammad Al-Abbas- Dean of the College of Financial and Administrative Science at King Khalid University and Executive Director of the Saudi Association for Internal Auditors- for his presentation. Then Mr. Thumairi gave a brief overview of the internal audit and its importance. Dr. Al-Abbas then talked in detail about the significance of internal audits and to what extent it can assist the various departments of the University to achieve their strategic goals. The workshop which targeted the leaders of Majmaah University has witnessed a large number of attendance who participated actively in the workshop. Several inquiries were answered during the workshop. Finally, Dr. Dosari -the University Vice-rector- gave a concluding speech, restating the importance of internal audit and thanking Dr. Al-Abbas for his informative presentation. Following the final speech of the Vice-rector, Dr. Al-Abbas has received a Shield of Gratitude for his participation.
