MU Rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, chaired a meeting of the Sports City Project Committee that will be constructed at the main campus in Majmaah. The meeting was attended by committee members and representatives from the entities involved in the project.

During the meeting, the committee reviewed the project's progress, including the work completed at the construction site. Members also discussed the project's technical and financial status and examined the latest technical report.

The committee discussed several recommendations to support the project's implementation and emphasized the importance of close coordination among the supervising committees, University departments, and relevant stakeholders. This collaborative approach will help maintain steady progress and address any challenges that may arise.

MU Rector pointed out that it is important to conduct field visits to resolve issues that impeded the progress of the project. He noted that the Sports City is a strategic development that will enhance the services provided for students. It will also boost the partnerships with sports clubs and organizations, in line with the University's commitment to creating a high-quality sports environment.
