MU SIGNS COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH KNOWLEDGEX COMMUNICATIONS

On the sidelines of the annual research forum, and under the patronage of the Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shehri, Majmaah University (MU) signed a cooperation agreement with Knowledgex to boost the university's strategic partnerships with the private sector and support the research and innovation ecosystem.

The agreement aims to enhance collaboration in scientific research and innovation, facilitate the exchange of expertise and knowledge, and support research and development, intellectual property, and entrepreneurship. It also seeks to contribute to building an integrated research ecosystem that supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and strengthens innovation and technological development outcomes.

The agreement also includes the development of joint research initiatives and projects, support for researchers, the provision of training and qualification opportunities, and the organization of workshops and specialized programs that enhance national talent and foster innovation.

This partnership aims to leverage the technical capabilities and specialized expertise of both parties to promote knowledge transfer, localize technology, and support the development of high-impact projects with sustainable economic and intellectual value.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Ali Al-Saawi, Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and Ms. Rawan Al-Ghamdi, Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Both parties expressed their aspirations for achieving impactful outcomes through this agreement that will support scientific research, innovation, and stronger collaboration between academia and the private sector.
