MU RECTOR REVIEWS THE UNIVERSITY’S BUDGET ALLOCATION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026

MU Rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, reviewed the university’s approved budget allocation for the 2026 fiscal year, following the issuance of the Royal Decree and the Council of Ministers’ resolution approving the State’s General Budget for 2026.

The General Supervisor of Administrative and Financial Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Al-Mousa, presented an overview of the key provisions of the Royal Decree and the Council of Ministers’ decision. He also outlined the financial allocations communicated to the university for the 2026 fiscal year, which are aimed at supporting academic and research activities, enhancing spending efficiency, and ensuring the continued implementation of developmental and strategic projects in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

MU Rector expressed his sincere appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for the support that underscores the Kingdom’s steadfast commitment to higher education. He hoped that the university’s 2026 budget would allow in enhancing the quality of its educational, research, and administrative performance.
