MU COUNCIL HOLDS ITS 7TH MEETING FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 1446

‎On behalf of the minister of education, Mr. Yousef al-Benyan - Chairman of  MU'S Council -,  MU Rector, Prof. Saleh al-Mezal, chaired the seventh meeting of the university council for the academic year 1446 in the presence of the Secretary General of the Council of Universities Affairs, Dr. Bassam Al-Bassam, vice-rectors and deans of colleges and deanships.

MU rector commended the late expansion of the astronomical observatory in Hawtat Sudair, the preparations for sighting Ramadan crescent and the agreement signed with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in the field of health and academic services.

The General Secretary of the Council, Prof. Mohammed al-Shehri, pointed out that several topics in the agenda were addressed, including briefing the Council members about the progress made by the Permanent Committee for Scholarships and Training . The Council members also discussed the approval of the admission plan for the year 1447 and the executive summary of the 4th strategic plan. A number of topics related to the administrative affairs of faculty members were also addressed.

At the end of the meeting, the rector extended his thanks to the council members for their active role in improving the quality of the university outcomes.
