MU RECTOR PATRONIZES AWARDING CEREMONY ON INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER DAY
In line with its efforts to support volunteering enablement, the Volunteer Center at MU held an awarding ceremony on the International volunteer Day under the patronage of the rector, Prof. Al-Mizil and in the presence of vice-rectors, deans and head of administrations.
In a speech delivered on this occasion, Dr. Faisal Al-Mutairi, the supervisor of volunteer work, pointed out that the university has achieved a remarkable progress in volunteer work, highlighting that a volunteer center was set up by the university which also subscribed in the National Volunteer Portal.
The number of volunteers at the university exceeded 3800 with approximately 1900 volunteer opportunities and more than 160000 volunteer hours.
